Domestic: Period home installs a Ground Source Heat Pump

This beautiful period home sits in the lush southern coast of the Isle of Wight. The family has many fond memories of parties and croquet on the large south-facing lawn. It was, therefore, an honour to be entrusted to dig it up in order to install a large Ground Source Heat Pump system!

The Walkers Period Property - suitable for a ground source heat pump

The project had several parts: the digging and burying of 5 lengths of 50m long pipes (slinkies) in the ground; the removal of the old oil tank and building of a plant room in its place; the installation of 16 new radiators and all the associated plumbing and connections the project required as a whole.

Making use of the outbuildings

Furthermore, the installation of a 15 solar panels system on the roof of an outbuilding completed the green improvements to the property.
