Under Floor Heating & Wall Heating

  

Large country house approx 329 sq metres. Several hundred years old with large rooms, high ceilings and large traditional windows.

The key to heating this large house in an energy efficient way was a high level of insulation and the fitting of under floor and wall heating. This was done in collaboration with the customers own workforce.

A Waterkotte ground source heat pump was fitted in 2007 and supplemented by a solar thermal system in 2009 to give an efficient supply of domestic hot water. The project has now been extended and a second ground source heat pump will be fitted later this year.
