Grant Aerona air to water heat pumps include many innovative components. The intergration of a highly efficient weather compensating device with dual temperature control and a 3 kW electrical heat backup (there is also a factory fitted option to upgrade the electrical backup to 6 kW, by special order) allows the unit to perform more efficiently than some other heat pump designs, giving a reliable heat output, using less power, resulting in lower running costs. The design also allows for easy installation, into a new or exisiting S-plan type system configuration.
The Aerona is available in 6 kW, 8.5 kW, 11 kW, and 13 kW outputs. (Not including the immersion back-up)

The Daikin Altherma LT split system offers complete flexibility for both new and refurbishment projects, where a water temperature of 50deg C is sufficient.
The low temperature system also offers the option of being connected with an indirect pressurised solar thermal system to create a fully renewable system.
The wall hung indoor unit, or hydrobox, generate water temperatures of up to 50degC for space heating and hot water.
The outdoor unit extracts heat from the outside air and transfers it to the indoor unit via refrigerant piping.

The Daikin Altherma LT split system has the option of intergrated design.
Floor standing indoor unit
The cylinder can be mounted on top of the indoor floor mounted hydrobox saving space in the build.
Improved cylinder efficiency and performance.
Danfoss Heat Pumps

Four unique Danfoss technologies at the heart of the DHP-AQ
Opti: (Optimum Technology) This technology constantly monitors the heat pump system and adjusts the pumps performance accordingly.
This allows your pump to run at its most efficient level.
OPTI can improve the seasonal performance of the pump by approximately 10%.
TWS: ( Tap Water Stratification): This patented Danfoss technology is used in the Danfoss water cylinders. This technology ensures a fast production of hot tap water.
It can also lower costs and improve the pump's seasonal performance.

Acoustically engineered mechanical design: This feature lowers the sound level of the DHP-AQ to the lowest on the market. This allows the outdoor unit to be installed where it suits the customer with a minimal consideration to noise levels.
Flexibility: The DHP-AQ offers a range of solutions which creates complete flexibillity to adapt to the customers needs.
Also available is the Danfoss DHP-A heat pump series.
